Activities at our home

At Glendale Lodge, we take pride in supporting all residents live a meaningful and enjoyable life.

We feel that activities play a key part in achieving this objective.

We understand that activities only become meaningful when they are part and parcel of each residents personalised care plan and they have been involved in choosing the activities that give substance to their daily life.

To ensure every resident is fully involved in choosing activities they would enjoy and would like to participate in, our intake process works with the resident and their loved ones to discover who they are, how they have lived their life and what supports them enjoy and live a meaningful quality life.

Cavin Finn

Activities Coordinator

My name is Cavin and I am blessed to be part of Activities Team at Glendale Lodge in Deal.

Over the years I have worked with Older people and Older people living with dementia.

I love the buzz of working directly with residents at Glendale and engaging them in activities they love.

Please see the bulleted list of activities uder Activities at Glendale Lodge to get a feel of type of activites we offer.

I have worked as activities co-ordinator for 10 years and enjoyed every minute of that role.

The care staff at Glendale tell me that the residents always look forward to participating in our activities that are going on.
